Mason is a graduate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he studied Construction Management. There he was involved in the Construction Guild Foundation which he served as a Secretary/Treasurer for 2 years and he was the President of the Construction Foundation his senior year. He hosted the tailgates at ULM football games to bring students together and gain students interests in joining the construction industry. He also hosted their annual Guild Foundation Banquette, where Construction leaders and managers from all over the United States, along with Imagineers from Walt Disney World attend to meet new students in order to build career connections for upon graduation.
In Mason’s off time he enjoys difficult adventurous challenges such as GoRuck Challenges, trail runs and spending time with his wife and dog Rocky. He also enjoys reading books by David Goggins and Jocko Willink on Leadership and employing the mindset, “there are no bad teams, only bad leaders” – Jock Willink. He focuses on being a great follower, to learn and staying humble, that will one day allow him to be a great leader for others to mentor from.
Mason grew up in the Denham Springs area for most of his childhood. He attended Live Oak High School where he was a Division 1 Wrestler and team captain. Mason and his best friends were the start of the Live Oak wrestling program and installed the High School wrestling program to where it is today.
